“The most memorable moment of #MySunwayStory was when I was chosen to represent Sunway University as part of a 6-member delegation to Lancaster University. That was my first time traveling outside of Asia. Now, as part of the Corporate Audit team at General Electric Company in the United States, I get to rotate every 4 months to a new assignment – I’ve been posted to 7 different locations in the USA, and I’ve also travelled to China, Japan, Singapore and Thailand for projects.

If it wasn’t for the Chancellor’s Scholarship, I would not have had the opportunities I have today, and in university – like traveling to Lancaster, and having the privilege of being Student Council President in 2008. The cherry on the cake was being offered the 2010 Valedictorian Award for Sunway University!

Looking back, I know that Sunway has definitely shaped my personality in becoming the leader I am today, and always wanting to give above and beyond what I'm required. I’ve learned, through the many opportunities available outside of Sunway’s lecture halls, to value continuous learning. If I didn't walk down this path, I can't imagine how life would have turned out!"
