TERMS OF APPLICATION
- The applicant is Malay / Bumiputera and Malaysian citizen.
- Either the mother OR father is Malay/ Bumiputera and is a Malaysian citizen.
- Applicants age limit to as of 31 December 2024:-
EDUCATION LOCATION AGE LIMIT Local 45 years Overseas 35 years - Applicants / Mother / Father / Guardian are not included in MARA’s blacklist or legal action.
- Applicants do not receive financial/ sponsorship assistance from any agency for the same degree (double sponsor).
- Obtain release / deferment of service contract or repayment of loan from other sponsor bodies. Applicants who are currently in service need to obtain unpaid study leave approval or written confirmation of resignation from the employer.

Generali Malaysia Volare Scholarship Programme
Sunway Education Group in collaboration with Generali Insurance Malaysia Berhad would like to offer its GENERALI MALAYSIA VOLARE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME to 1st and 2nd Year degree students in following fields of study:
- Actuarial Science,
- Industrial Statistics,

- any other fields related to Generali’s future-proof program.
The scholarship programme will provide financial assistance through two options (up to RM 12,000 per academic year), as outlined below:
- Option 1: Scholars will receive an annual cash award of RM12,000.
- Option 2: Scholars will receive complete coverage of tuition fees as per the charges set by universities.
We strongly recommended for Sunway degree students to opt for Option 2 in order for us to tag them under Sunway Strategic Alliance Partnership with Generali Insurance Scholarship and student will be free from any financial hold.
However, if student opt for Option 1, we will treat them as self-paying and they are responsible to pay all fees according to due date imposed by Finance and subject to financial hold should there be any delay in settling semester fees payment.

Applicants must be Malaysian citizens with an outstanding academic and extra co-curricular track record, achieving a minimum CGPA of 3.50 or First Class Honours (or equivalent)
- Applicants should be enrolled in their first degree at local and/or private universities in Malaysia, with priority given to those in their second year.
- Eligible fields of study include Actuarial Science, IT, Accounting, Insurance, Law, and any other field related to the insurance industry or future-proof skills.

JPA Scholarship – Program Khas Jepun, Korea, Perancis dan Jerman (JKPJ)
Program Khas Jepun, Korea, Perancis dan Jerman (JKPJ) is a scholarship for SPM students to pursue studies in engineering, science and technology or social science related fields in Japan, Korea, France and Germany.
Successful candidates will attend preparatory studies in a local university before pursuing their tertiary education in these respective countries.

Bank Negara Malaysia (Kijang Scholarship)
The Kijang Scholarship is awarded to eligible individuals to pursue pre-university programmes at the Bank’s approved pre-university colleges. This scholarship provides tuition fees, subsistence allowance, as well as related scholarship allowances.

- Excellent examination result: A minimum of 8As (A and A+ only) obtained for SPM examinations.
- Strong leadership qualities, proven teamwork capabilities, outstanding performance in extra-curricular activities.

Upon successful completion of their undergraduate programmes, scholars will be required to serve their employment bond with the Bank (i.e. ratio of one year of study to two years of service).

Yayasan KLK Scholarship
Yayasan KLK, a foundation established by KLK, offers scholarships to high-achieving young Malaysians who are studying or have gained a place at any Malaysian institutions of higher learning. Upon graduation, scholars may be offered the opportunity to work in KLK or its business units.
While undergoing tertiary education, scholars’ academic performance is monitored and they are expected to undergo practical training within the Group. TERMS OF APPLICATION
- The applicant and one of the parents are a citizen and of Bumiputera status.
- Parents/ Guardians as well as students are NOT blacklisted by MARA.
- Applicants do not receive financial/ sponsorship assistance from any agency for the same education level (double sponsor).
- The courses enrolled in are courses recognized by the Malaysian Government and the Professional Body of Malaysia.
- Has never been terminated by any sponsor for disciplinary action that is unlawful and has no criminal record.
- Free from chronic illnesses / infectious diseases / diseases that require follow-up treatment and are able to study until completion.
- Obtain release / deferment of service contract or repayment of loan from other sponsor bodies (except MARA) for previous study (for those related).

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

MARA TESP 2024
- Once MARA has accepted all the documents including sets of agreement, tuition fees will be made directly to institutions and living allowances will be deposited into student’s Bank Islam saving account.
- Loan disbursement to students for the following semester will be made based on:
- Still pursuing studies; and
- Passed the examination in the previous semester with CGPA of 3.0 and above
The disbursement of loan will be suspended in a particular semester due to any of the following reasons:
- Poor academic performance - average semester result CGPA below 3.0
- Deferment of studies
- Change of course to other programme which is not listed under MARA’s approval
- The loan will be terminated if a student fails to continue in the programme of study as stipulated in the loan agreement.
- Student’s who wish to cancel the loan throughout the study period have to complete the “Borang Pembatalan Perjanjian” available on the MARA website.
- When the loan is terminated, student is required to repay the loan amount taken during the duration of study.
- A written appeal must be submitted to MARA if the student is unable to repay the loan amount taken during the duration of study.
- MARA reserves the right to terminate or withdraw the loan offer at any point in time if the information is false or inaccurate.
- Students who wished to transfer/change programme must seek advise from Puan Norlela Abdul Rahman at norlelaar@sunway.edu.my for verification before submit document to MARA for approval.
- Change of course to other programme which is not listed under MARA’s approval will results in study loan termination.

Grounds of revocation include:
- Failed to achieve the minimum CGPA required for two consecutive semesters; OR

- Involved in illegal/unlawful activities and or vices considered detrimental to PFF’s or state government’s interest (refer to PFF Scholarship Agreement for details); OR
- Expelled from university on any ground; OR
- On the conviction of involvement in drug abuse and/or activities related to drugs, including trafficking and consumption of drugs.
IF scholarship is revoked, the scholar and/or guarantor(s) has to pay back all monies received from the PFF Scholarship within 60 days upon receipt of the letter of demand.

Grounds of revocation include:
- Scholarship will not be granted for extension period save for:
- Suspension of studies of not more than 6 months by virtue of Scholar’s failing health, supported by:
- Certified medical report by General Hospital or accredited medical institution, and
- Supporting letter by a member of the faculty’s academy staff
- Case to case basis on humanitarian grounds to be determined at PFF’s sole discretion. Refer to PFF Scholarship Agreement for details.
- Suspension of studies of not more than 6 months by virtue of Scholar’s failing health, supported by:
- Any approval of extension will not exceed a maximum period of one (1) year from the date of approval, unless otherwise determined and confirmed in writing by PFF.

Applicants who do not meet the CGPA requirements as stated are eligible to be considered, if they have work experience in a related field for at least three (3) years.
- Applicants who are currently studying or are about to begin their studies before or have obtained an official offer letter from the university.
- Applicants who are currently studying must have at least 1 year of remaining study term for Master's Degree and 2 years of PhD.
- Applicants who plan to study locally must obtain an offer of study from the Institutions.
- Applicants must not already possess the same for which they are applying.
- The courses applied must possess accreditation from the Public Service Department (PSD).
- Application is open to full time study only.
The disbursement of loan will be suspended in a particular semester due to any of the following reasons:
- Poor academic performance - average semester result CGPA below 3.0
- Deferment of studies
- Change of course to other programme which is not listed under MARA’s approval
- The loan will be terminated if a student fails to continue in the programme of study as stipulated in the loan agreement.
- Student’s who wish to cancel the loan throughout the study period have to complete the “Borang Pembatalan Perjanjian” available on the MARA website.
- When the loan is terminated, student is required to repay the loan amount taken during the duration of study.
- A written appeal must be submitted to MARA if the student is unable to repay the loan amount taken during the duration of study.
- MARA reserves the right to terminate or withdraw the loan offer at any point in time if the information is false or inaccurate.
- Students who wished to transfer/change programme must complete the “Borang Permohonan Pertukaran Kursus” and submit to Registry staff for verification before send to MARA for approval.
- Change of course to other programme which is not listed under MARA’s approval will results in study loan termination.
