OKU Financial Allowance in Higher Education Institution

  • Malaysian student with OKU card issued by Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM)
  • All Diploma & Degree Programmes approved by MQA or JPA.
  • Part time student is eligible
  • Students who are holding any type of scholarship is only eligible to apply ‘Wang Saku’.
  1. Register online at https://biasiswa.mohe.gov.my/bk_oku/
  2. Applicants are required to register online in order to submit the application.
  3. Application submission must be within 30 days from the commencement of new semester.
  4. After online registration, print the form, together with the supporting documents and post it to the following address: -

  • Copy of Student OKU Card from JKM

  • Copy of Latest Result (for returning student)
  • Copy of BIMB Individual Saving Account Passbook (Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad)
  • Invoice/ Receipt of the School Fees
  1. Allowance coverage is from RM 5,000 per year up to a maximum of RM 20,000 for the entire programme.
  2. Applicant whom is holding any type of scholarship is only eligible to apply ‘Wang Saku’ amounting to RM 300 per month.
  3. Applicants are required to submit the application, together with supporting documents on a semester basis.
  4. The Ministry reserves the right to reject the incomplete application.

  • Below 55 years of age
  • Having savings in Account II
  • Member may withdraw up to the maximum amount of the tuition fees or all of the balance in Account II.
  1. Check balance amount in EPF’s Account II.
  2. Obtain the supporting documents from the Sunway University, respective Faculty administration office:-
    • EPF withdrawal letter from Sunway University
    • Certification of Accreditation for the programme the student is taking (need to be stamped and signed by Sunway University)
    • Salinan Sijil Perakuan Pendaftaran Sunway University (need to be stamped and signed by Sunway University)
  3. Member’s statement shown her/his eligible amount to withdraw.
  4. Complete the KWSP 9H (AHL).
  5. Submit the form together with the supporting documents to KWSP.
  6. Upon approval, payments are made directly to the Sunway University.
