"As athletes, we want to do our best for the country. We don't just travel overseas to competitions for fun - if we don't succeed, it's the worst feeling in the world and when that happens, we would normally wish we were on the next plane back home.

While we were at Sunway, we were both on the Sunway Sports Scholarships. We are grateful that we were in the Canadian International Matriculation Programme (CIMP) as our lecturers were able to accommodate our intense training schedules. We were training full-time (8 hours a day) so it felt like we were juggling two full-time jobs!

Not only that, classes were so interactive - there were a lot of presentations, group work, and we really enjoyed our interactions with our lecturers. Having lecturers who understood our schedules as athletes were extremely helpful, and likewise, we would reach out to them and communicate with them even while we were away for competitions. Our class definitely felt like a family, and we would always be grateful for our time at Sunway."
