“My childhood could be described as a roller-coaster ride; lively, loud, colourful with ups and downs that has moulded me into the person I am today. I faced many challenges in pursuing my educational and goals but my family always played an important role by providing all the moral support to me. #MySunwayStory began when I found out about the scholarship via internet. My greatest aspiration in life is to realize my fullest potential, talent and be happy; to be all that I possibly can.

The scholarship was not just about money to me, it was a way of showing me that I have what it takes to shape the future of our society and at the very least I now have the responsibility of giving back to the community. This was one lesson that I learnt while serving as a Student Volunteer in Sunway, the more you give, the more you get! This scholarship was only a beginning and has opened up various possibilities for me to achieve my dreams.

One thing I would highlight to my juniors is to have trust that everything will fall into place. It is indeed true that when your circle of friends’ decrease, their value increases. Choose your group of friends wisely as they will either inspire you or drain you!”
