Growing up in Kajang, never in a thousand years would I have imagined to be studying in one of the most prestigious universities in Malaysia, let alone receiving a scholarship from Sunway Education Group. I received a life-changing phone call while I was at Rock Cafe informing me about my acceptance for the scholarship to study at Sunway University. The only thought in my mind was doubt that this was not real, fortunately, it was. However, my journey was not alone. Without my parents, I would not have begun this journey that has given me such a big opportunity.
 
Being awarded the Sunway Excellence Scholarship means a lot to me. To me, it means infinite opportunities are presented right in front of me and this just marks the beginning. During my time here at Sunway, I have been given amazing exposure to diverse and dedicated clubs such as The Sunway Actuarial and The Financial Excellence (SAFE). Furthermore, I am proud to say that I was in one of the most prestigious groups in Sunway, The SSA. The experiences I have gained from the notable clubs have been unforgettable and the friends that I have met along the way will be always cherished. Sunway University truly has done a remarkable job when it comes to clubs and societies.
 
My journey has not always been smooth sailing. There were challenges like having to juggle my studies, curricular activities, and tutoring sessions. However, this only motivated me, even more, to work harder and always strive to be the best me. Thank you Sunway for giving me this opportunity and here's another #MySunwayStory. "As long as it is a process, you will be able to learn something from it. You will only lose if you don't try."
