“My siblings and I have been staying in an orphanage since we were young as my parents were not able to support all of us financially. Although my family went through many hurdles, I often fall back on my hobbies to get through it.

My biggest interest is to disassemble a computer and reassemble it to its original form, or combine them with other computer parts. Then, I began learning about formatting computers and challenged myself to code my own scripts that allow computers to ‘force shutdown’ at selected times.

From then on, I have formatted over hundreds of computers including my own laptop. My ambition is to create a programme application that can be accessed offline as well as to serve multiple functions. I would like to start my own business with applications that I have created.

#MySunwayStory is one that has changed my life. It gave me the chance to realise my dreams, meet amazing people, attend university, and get the opportunities to go on cultural exchange trips; all these whilst easing the financial pressure off my parents.

Dear new scholars, you have been given a chance to make a difference in your life. Do not waste it. Try to explore yourself and meet new friends in Sunway University and do not to give up even when it gets difficult. Life is a journey with problems to solve and lessons to learn, but most of all, experiences to enjoy.”
